A-Grade Electrician | Residential Service & Fault Finding

About the Role

As an A-Grade Electrician, you’ll help deliver reliable residential electrical solutions across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs while representing a trusted local business.

You’ll run your own residential service jobs from diagnosis and quoting through to completion — backed by an office team that keeps the schedule organised and customers informed.

What You’ll Do

This is wide-ranging residential service and maintenance work — not repetitive new-build installations.

You’ll:

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in residential homes

- Quote work on site and explain options clearly to customers.

- Install and upgrade switchboards, power, lighting, EV chargers, fans, appliances and other electrical systems

- Manage your jobs from the initial assessment through to completion

Skills & Experience

You’ll need:

- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence

- Current Victorian driver’s licence





- Residential service and maintenance experience

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Confidence dealing directly with homeowners

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your jobs

Experience quoting residential electrical work on site is highly regarded.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. What matters is that you’re capable, take pride in your work and want to keep improving.
