As such, we have a need for 2 Integration Engineers to act as the technical engine bridging our enterprise systems. You will collaborate directly with Architecture Leads, Data and Platform Engineers, Security teams, QA, and external partners to transform conceptual architectures into robust, production-ready integrations. Your primary focus will be designing, building, and maintaining the secure, cloud-native connectivity that powers the trading technology ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities

- Transform high-level architectural visions into actionable, granular technical blueprints.

- Draft comprehensive API specifications, data mapping documents, event schemas, sequence diagrams, and interface agreements.

- Architect end-to-end data flows by defining strict protocols for data transformation, security, error recovery, auditing, reconciliation, and telemetry.

- Program reliable APIs, microservices, batch pipelines, and event-driven consumers utilising Python, Java, Node.js, or C#.

- Leverage the AWS ecosystem (including Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, ECS, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM) to build scalable connectivity solutions.

- Drive software reliability by writing automated unit, integration, contract, and regression test suites.





- Actively contribute to CI/CD pipelines, provision infrastructure via code (IaC), and enhance system observability.

- Shepherd solutions through testing phases (SIT/UAT), manage deployment cutovers, and provide post-launch hypercare.

- Author clear operational runbooks and facilitate comprehensive knowledge sharing for support teams.

- Granular system designs and "as-built" technical documentation.

- Finalised API specifications, event models, and data mapping contracts.

- Functional, deployed APIs, microservices, and system adapters.

- Deployment-ready CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates.

- Operational dashboards, alerting mechanisms, and support runbooks.

- Successful production rollouts and seamless operational handovers.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 7+ years of professional background in software engineering, middleware, or integration development.

- Proven ability to translate broad architectural strategies into functioning, low-level technical realities.

- Deep expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices, batch workloads, and event-driven messaging systems.

- Solid programming proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or Node.js, combined with hands-on AWS integration experience.

- Solid grounding in SQL, Snowflake, data ingestion pipelines, validation, and reconciliation workflows.

- Fluency in Git version control, CI/CD automation, IaC, automated testing methodologies, and production support.

Preferred Qualifications

- Background in financial markets, commodities, LNG, or energy trading environments.

- Previous exposure to trading-specific platforms (ETRM/CTRM, market data feeds, risk management, or valuation engines).

- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka/Amazon MSK, container orchestration, and IaC frameworks like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.

- A track record of engineering highly secure, low-latency, and high-throughput systems.
