About the Role
Our client is looking for a motivated Software Developer Graduate / Junior Developer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who has completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field and is looking to build their career in software development. You’ll work closely with the Lead Developer, contributing to a new project from the ground up while developing your technical skills across software development, databases and problem solving.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in C#/.NET, good SQL knowledge and a genuine desire to learn and develop their skills.

Duties

- Assist with the design, development and implementation of software solutions
- Develop and maintain applications using C#/.NET
- Work with databases and SQL, including PostgreSQL
- Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues
- Participate in testing,



debugging and problem solving
- Work collaboratively with the Lead Developer and wider team
- Contribute ideas and solutions to a new project
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver quality work
- Document technical work and communicate progress clearly

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field
- Strong foundation in C#/.NET development through university projects, internships or personal projects
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, or strong SQL fundamentals with a willingness to learn PostgreSQL
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Structured approach to diagnosing and resolving issues
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
- Proactive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for learning
- Must be eligible to work in Australia
