We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team to design and deploy Cisco and Meraki network solutions. There’s plenty of variety in the work, and you’ll need a current CCNP certification at a minimum, along with strong experience across enterprise networking technologies including LAN, WAN and WLAN, with experience in technologies such as Cisco ISE. If you are a CCIE or have strong Meraki expertise, we would be particularly interested in hearing from you.

This opportunity is available as either a permanent position or a contract engagement, depending on the successful candidate’s preference and experience.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced network and communications engineer to join our Melbourne team. You will be responsible for network design and delivery, working alongside our senior engineering team to deliver complex solutions for our customers.

About You

- You are an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong technical knowledge and a genuine passion for networking and engineering.
- You have demonstrated experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex enterprise network solutions.
- You are confident working directly with customers, from understanding technical requirements through to design, implementation and handover.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, and can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You are capable of working independently on customer sites while also contributing effectively as part of a high-performing engineering team.
- You take ownership of your work and can be relied upon to deliver projects to a high technical and professional standard.
- You are committed to keeping your technical skills current and are willing to learn, study and obtain further industry certifications.
- You have strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Specialist expertise in one or more networking technologies would be highly regarded, including Wi-Fi, SDA, ISE, Security, Meraki or SD-WAN.

Essential Criteria

- Current CCNP certification at a minimum, with CCIE certification or equivalent advanced expertise highly regarded.
- Demonstrated senior-level experience designing and delivering complex enterprise network solutions, including the ability to take a solution from design through configuration, implementation, testing and handover.




- Strong hands-on experience across Cisco enterprise networking technologies, particularly LAN, WAN and/or WLAN.
- Experience with Cisco ISE, Meraki, SDA, SD-WAN or enterprise Wi-Fi would be highly regarded.
- Strong troubleshooting capability, with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and take technical ownership of customer projects.
- Strong customer-facing skills and the confidence to engage professionally with customers and stakeholders.
- High levels of accuracy, documentation quality and attention to detail.
- You must already have the right to live and work in Australia.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required, with a current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
- You must be physically capable of undertaking the site requirements of the position, which may include low-level ladder work and attendance at building sites.
- Strong computer skills, including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio.
