About the role

A disability support worker role providing personal care, in-home supports and community access services to disability and aged care clients, with a focus on encouraging client independence and delivering personalised assistance.

Key responsibilities

- Encourage client independence

- Provide in-home supports including cleaning and assistance with domestic activities

- Assist with meals and snack preparation

- Perform house duties including laundry and empty pet litter trays

- Travel to appointments

- Provide community access

- Provide social support

About you

- Experience working with disability and aged care clients is mandatory

- Cert IV in Disability Services, Mental Health, Home & Community Care or Aged Care Services or Individual Support is mandatory

- Current Australian driver's licence and own car with comprehensive insurance

- Fluent in English
