Our client is a growing private credit fund seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for overseeing the accounts payable function and offshore accounting team, while also playing an key role in the fund’s transition towards bringing fund accounting capabilities in-house.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the day-to-day AP process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Manage and coordinate the offshore accounting team and review their outputs.
- Assist with the fund accounting function, including reconciliations, journals, month-end processes and financial reporting.
- Support the transition of fund accounting activities from external providers into the internal finance function.
- Assist with process improvement, controls and documentation across the finance function.




- Work closely with the broader investment and operations teams and external service providers.

About you
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
- Strong financial accounting experience, ideally within funds management, private equity, private credit or financial services.
- Experience managing or working closely with offshore accounting teams.
- Strong understanding of AP, reconciliations and month-end accounting.
- Fund accounting experience would be highly regarded.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and improving processes as the business evolves.
- Available to commence at short notice for a 3-month contract.
