This role is a rare opportunity to work close to home in Ballarat, and further develop your payroll skillset with the support and guidance of an experienced Payroll Manager and team.

The Responsibilities
Working within a supportive, positive and close knit team, this role will be suited to someone who has a passion for payroll and are looking for their next challenge as an integral employee. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Processing Australian and New Zealand payroll on a weekly and monthly basis




- Processing new starters, terminations and redundancies
- Interpreting various EBA’s and awards
- Responding to payroll related queries
- Processing superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG
- Ad hoc tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have previous proven experience in payroll as well as the following attributes:

- Positive and vibrant personality, with a passion for payroll
- Excellent time management skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and be a strong team player
