At the Young Australian Hotel, we are looking to add a new member to our crew. Currently, we are recruiting a passionate & proactive all rounder to join the friendly and professional team at the Young Aussie Hotel. More specifically, a Casual Duty Manager & Bar / Gaming Attendant. You will be responsible for providing friendly and professional customer service within our busy venue.
The successful applicant will be energetic, enthusiastic, possessing a high standard of presentation.
Able to manage a venue in all facets including overseeing retail, day & night operations dependant on shift.

Qualifications & experience

- Demonstrated experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment.

- Sound TAB and Keno knowledge a must!

- Responsible Service of Alcohol and Gaming (RSA & RSG) Statements of Attainment.

- Current RMLV & Approved Mangers License are essential

- Flexibility in availability to work rostered shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

- 1 to 3 years experience preferred but not essential

Tasks & responsibilities

- You can anticipate some of your responsibilities to include:

- Work with the Venue Manager to implement the best customer experience - every day.





- Manage and oversee the venue operations on a daily basis.

- Lead and manage bar and restaurant staff through service periods.

- Maintain a sound knowledge of venue products, services, activities, and promotions

- Apply sound business acumen to optimize the running of the venue.

- Continual compliance associated with running a licensed venue
