As such, we need an Integration Lead to spearhead the discovery, conceptualisation, and high-level architectural design of enterprise integrations across the trading technology ecosystem. Acting as the strategic liaison among business stakeholders, architectural boards, and technical delivery groups, you will ensure that all proposed connectivity solutions are secure, highly scalable, and structurally sound before detailed engineering begins.

Core Responsibilities

- Drive collaborative workshops to map business processes, chart system data flows, and define clear functional and non-functional integration requirements.

- Analyse source and target environments, existing interfaces, data models, API frameworks, and operational limitations to inform design strategy.

- Draft high-level integration architectures, visualising solutions through system context models, sequence diagrams, and end-to-end data flow charts.





- Determine the most effective integration methodologies for specific use cases, spanning APIs, event-driven systems, message queues, near-real-time streaming, and batch files.

- Guarantee that all conceptual designs strictly adhere to enterprise-wide standards for cloud infrastructure, data governance, and cybersecurity.

- Align architectural decisions across diverse groups, including business SMEs, application owners, security specialists, platform engineers, and external vendors.

- Deliver comprehensive technical handovers to Integration Engineers and continuously review downstream detailed designs to ensure they remain true to the initial architectural vision.

- Finalised integration requirements, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.

- Comprehensive interface inventories and cross-system dependency registers.

- High-level solution architectures and conceptual design documents.

- Visualised data flows, sequence models, and system context diagrams.

- Conceptual data mapping, security frameworks, and operational baselines.

- Documented architectural decision records (ADRs) and formal engineering handover packs.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 8+ years operating as an Integration Architect, Solution Architect,



or Senior Technical Analyst.

- Proven track record of spearheading technical discovery and architectural design for large-scale, complex enterprise integrations.

- Deep foundational knowledge of RESTful services, microservices ecosystems, event-driven architectures, messaging protocols, and batch processing.

- Solid conceptual understanding of AWS cloud-native integration services and contemporary data platforms like Snowflake.

- Exceptional ability to facilitate workshops, engage cross-functional stakeholders, and author precise technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in energy, LNG, oil and gas, commodities, or financial trading sectors.

- Familiarity with integrating core trading systems, including ETRM/CTRM, optimisation engines, market data providers, and risk or valuation platforms.

- Practical knowledge of AWS integration components (e.g., API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Lambda, ECS, S3, IAM).

- Experience collaborating with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software vendors, system integrators, and globally distributed delivery teams.

Performance Indicators

- Delivery of fully ratified, comprehensive requirements and high-level integration designs.

- Seamless transition of architectural blueprints to engineering teams, minimising downstream ambiguity and rework.

- Strict adherence to enterprise architecture, security protocols, and operational guardrails.

- Proactively identify and mitigate technical dependencies and integration risks early in the project lifecycle.
