A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact in this global mining business as a Management and Systems Accountant, based in Perth.

This is a broad and commercially engaging role, operating across management accounting, capital expenditure and global project support. Reporting to the Finance Superintendent, you will work closely with Perth project teams, overseas site accountants and Group stakeholders.

The position combines core finance responsibilities with a strong focus on improving processes, systems and the way finance supports projects globally. You will build on existing capex tools and workflows, with scope to contribute to broader finance improvement initiatives.

Core functions of the role include:

- Financial and management reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting (including annual planning cycles)
- Cost control and project finance support
- Capex analysis, variance reporting and approval workflows
- Cash call reporting and forecasting for project and joint venture partners
- System reconciliations, financial controls and capital project audit support
- Partnering with global stakeholders across projects and corporate functions
- Driving process improvements across finance workflows
- Supporting systems enhancement and automation initiatives

About you

You are a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working across teams and solving problems in complex environments.



You are comfortable balancing hands-on accounting responsibilities with broader process improvement and are able to influence stakeholders across different functions and geographies.

- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience in mining, resources and project-based environments
- Background across financial reporting, budgeting and capital project accounting
- Proven stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability
- Experience improving processes, systems or ways of working
- Solid communication skills and ability to influence across levels
- Self-directed, with the willingness to follow up information and resolve detailed accounting issues
- Pronto and/or JDE ERP experience
- Experience working across multiple systems or global operations
- Exposure to capex approval workflows, process mapping and systems implementations
- Full Australian working rights

- Salary circa $130,000–$150,000 + superannuation, commensurate with capabilities and experience
