We're on the hunt for a Salesperson/Service Advisor to join our team at Fulcrum Rockhampton and Active Gear. We're a busy mechanical workshop specialising in suspension work and fitting 4x4 accessories; think bull bars, spotlights, winches, awnings etc. It's hands-on, it's fast-paced and no two days really look the same. If you're into cars, 4x4s or love the great outdoors, this could be your next role.

About the role

n

Reporting directly to the Owner/Director, you'll support our sales team and be the first point of contact for customers booking in service and repair work. You'll need to be highly organised, detail-focused and committed to maintaining a high standard of customer service.

This is a Monday–Friday role, with flexibility required for the occasional Saturday morning and 4x4 events.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Supporting the sales team, including preparing quotes
n
- Managing customer bookings and service/repair requirements
n
- Following up with customers to build relationships and grow workshop volume
n
- Completing and maintaining sales documentation
n
- Liaising with suppliers,



ordering parts and managing inbound stock
n
- Creating invoices and maintaining our customer database
n
- Answering phones and making outbound calls
n
- Supporting the team at annual 4x4 events
n
- Helping maintain the showroom and stock
n
- Building product knowledge through manufacturer and internal training
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Solid phone manner and customer service skills
n
- Comfortable with data entry and basic admin (experience with automation/booking software a bonus, not required)
n
- A positive, reliable, team-first attitude with strong attention to detail
n
- Punctual and well organised
n
- Full Australian work rights
n
- Experience in the mechanical, 4x4 or suspension industry is a plus but not essential. We're happy to train the right person.
