Our client manufactures high-quality precast concrete pipes and are looking for a Mig Welder/Overhead Crane Operator to join their team.

If you have experience with MIG welding, can read workshop drawings, and enjoy hands on work in a manufacturing setting, we’d like to hear from you.

Mig Welder/Overhead Crane Operator

The Role

In this role your primary responsibility will be the MIG welding of steel reinforcement used in the manufacture of precast concrete products.

Your duties will also include:

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Operating overhead cranes & forklift to move equipment around
- Following workplace safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised work area

What We're Looking For

- MIG welding experience
- Precast manufacturing experience
- The ability to read and interpret drawings
- Experience or confidence operating overhead cranes
- A reliable, practical,



and safety-focused approach to work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- LF Forklift licence highly regarded, but not essential.

Work Hours

You will generally float between 4am & 5am starts.

- Monday – Thursday: 5am start and working a 10-hour shift
- Friday: 4am start and working an 8-hour shift where possible.

Please note

- if you are successful at interview stage you will be required to undertake a pre employment medical, including D & A screen, physical, spirometry and audio testing. + complete an online induction prior to starting.
