Allied Health Assistant - Activities Officer

About the role

The Activities Officer plays an important role in supporting the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents by planning and delivering meaningful, person-centred activities based on their individual interests, abilities and needs. We are looking for someone who is caring, creative, organised and a great communicator, with a genuine passion for working with older people.

This is a Monday to Friday role, working 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, within our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team at Dunedoo MPS. No two days are the same—you may facilitate group or individual activities, organise special events and community connections, and work closely with residents, families, nursing staff, allied health and community organisations.

The successful applicant will receive orientation and ongoing support from the Nurse Manager and multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for learning and professional development. It is a rewarding role where you can bring joy, connection and meaningful experiences into our residents' everyday lives.
