About the Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Diploma qualified Educators to join the Community Services and Support Department at Mahogany Rise Child and Family Centre on a casual basis.

As a Casual Educator, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality education and care for children, supporting their learning, development, wellbeing, and inclusion within a safe and nurturing environment.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality education and care programs that support and inspire children's learning and development.
- Creating and maintaining an workplace that prioritises children's safety, health, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.
- Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community.
- Supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the service while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.
- Contributing to a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes positive outcomes for children and families.

This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work across a range of shifts to support service delivery.

About You

As the successful candidate you will have:





- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised qualification) in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011.
- Hold a current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting qualification (or be willing to obtain).
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to deliver high-quality education and care.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
- A commitment to child safety, inclusion, and supporting positive outcomes for children and families.
- Understanding of contemporary early childhood education practices and a commitment to continuous improvement.

This position is a Band 4A currently remunerated at $47.15 per hours, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
