Multispectrum is seeking a highly experienced individual in fibre optic and hybrid fibre copper (HFC) network devices and network cutovers. The applicant should have knowledge of security systems such as Access Control & IP cameras/NVR, and be able examine drawings/specifications and work areas to determine the configuration, location and connections of telecommunications equipment (NBN/Telstra) to be installed, in fibre optic and HFC active & passive network. This is a full time position.

Salary: $75,000.00 to $82,000.00 /year Qualification: Degree/diploma/certificate in Telecommunications/IT Experience:

- Optic Fibre and Mixed Network: 2 years minimum

The applicant's required skills:

n

n
- To work well in a team workplace and pro-actively delegate and organise work.
n
- Installation & programing of CCTV cameras, DVR, NVR, & mobile apps.
n
- Apply knowledge on electronic and HFC network standards.
n
- Maintain records and provide appropriate reporting as required.
n
- Finalising post installation designs/mud maps, and coordinating with client design team.
n
- Analyse drawings,



specifications and work areas to determine the required connections and locations of equipment to be installed.
n
- Schedule network outages and manage the network roll out, wherever required.
n
- Installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Multiports, BJL, FJL, etc. in the Fibre network.
n
- To assist in responding to emergency work to meet WHS requirements, that may arise during, and after hours, as required.
n
- Help the teams working on Telstra pit & pipe, manholes, and aerial works.
n

Main Tasks:

- Prepare the required documents to close each job, and close all the jobs on time.
n
- Ensure that all works are completed as per the general industry and client's standards.
n
- Maintain all site documents, at all times.
n
- Work well in a team environment, and individually.
n
- Organize and execute jobs as per the NBN/Telstra schedules & standards.
n
- Coordinate effectively between client's supervisor(s), end users, and Multispectrum projects team.
n
- Minimum two years of experience required in Fibre Optic and Mixed network installation & commissioning.
