Liquip International Pty Ltd is seeking a Production Planning Assistant to join our energetic manufacturing operations team. This is a full-time position based at our facility in Wetherill Park, NSW. In this role, you will support the production planning function, playing a crucial part in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the production planning and the mechanical Production Manager to coordinate schedules, manage workflows, and optimise our manufacturing processes to meet customer demands and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

- Assist in the development and maintenance of production schedules and timelines
- Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support production requirements
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to track production progress and identify any scheduling conflicts
- Support the preparation of production reports and performance metrics
- Liaise between production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow
- Assist in managing production orders and work-in-progress tracking
- Help identify scheduling inefficiencies and support process improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of production data and documentation
- Provide administrative support to the production planning department

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with production planning software or ERP systems




- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous
- Relevant qualification or certification in production planning, logistics, or manufacturing would be beneficial
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
