Food Production Cleaner - Commercial Bakery

As our Food Production Cleaner you will be responsible for making sure hygiene and cleanliness standards are met across the site. As an SQF-certified site our standards are high and clearly set out, so you always know what good looks like. Cleaning to schedule so production can start on time is critical to the role, alongside protected work practices in everything we do, for your safety and the team's. You will look after cleanliness and hygiene across the whole site - the production floor and equipment, storage areas, amenities, lunchroom and offices. Day to day that means floors, walls, work surfaces, drains, dishwashing and keeping supplies topped up, with heavier detail work rotating through the week so nothing gets left behind.

Key responsibilities

- Cleaning factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production equipment within your allocated area
- Using the correct cleaning chemicals for each task, at the correct dilution
- Working in a way that promotes due care for yourself and your work colleagues
- Wearing all required PPE at all times, and reporting any defects to the duty management team
- Other duties that support premium standards and continuous improvement, as reasonably required from time to time

About you

- Reliable and punctual - the team plans its day around you being there
- Available Monday to Friday during the day, full-time or part-time
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on cleaning work on your feet for a full shift




- Strong attention to detail and pride in high standards
- Able to follow safety procedures and use chemicals correctly
- Able to work well on your own and as part of a team
- Enough English to follow instructions and sign off a straightforward cleaning record
- Australian work rights (we cannot offer visa sponsorship)
- Cleaning experience in a commercial or food production environment (preferred, but not required)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling (preferred, but not required)

This is a permanent position on our own team, not an after-hours contract. You will work alongside our production crew, and good performance here is noticed - we promote from within wherever we can.

Permanent work Monday to Friday, roughly 9:00am to 5:00pm - no split shifts and no weekends

Full-time or part-time hours, and we can flex start and finish times a little to suit you
