Spring Creek Barramundi is an industry leader in Barramundi Aquaculture and is located in Townsville, North Qld

The position of Fish Farm Hand/Aquaculture Technician will undertake a diverse range of daily operational tasks within the farm and will report to section managers.

This position is fulltime, 40 hours per week, 9-day roster. There is room to grow within our team.

Part time options may be available for the right candidate.

Duties and responsibilities that accompany this position:

- Fish Feeding
- Fish grading and live transfers
- Testing Water Quality parameters
- Machinery operation
- Pond maintenance
- System maintenance
- Weekend and on call work

This is an outdoors based role in North Queensland so previous experience working outdoors in similar roles is preferred. The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, good attention to detail, be able to work independently and as part of a team. We are seeking a motivated individual who will go the extra mile to get the job done. Experience using machinery such as tractors, Tele handlers,



forklifts or any other heavy machinery will be looked upon favourably.

Experience in the Aquaculture field or associated fields (eg. farming, maritime etc.) is preferred but not essential. Applicants who have a keen interest in farming and are hardworking are still encouraged to apply.

- Current Driver's License
- Own reliable transport
- Construction White Card**
- Current First Aid Certificate**
