Our team works across mechanical electrical, Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC controls and custom-designed Mechanical Switchboards, delivering solutions across commercial buildings and complex infrastructure.

We are continuing to grow and are looking for a skilled Mechanical Electrician to join our ACT team.

The Role

This is a hands-on role working across mechanical electrical and building automation projects throughout Canberra.

You’ll be involved across the project lifecycle – from installation and termination through to testing, fault-finding and commissioning – working alongside our Project Managers, Engineers and BMS Technicians.

Your work will include:

- Installing, terminating and testing mechanical electrical wiring and building automation control systems
- Completing electrical works associated with HVAC plant, mechanical services, field devices and BMS controls
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and control diagrams
- Installing cables, wiring field devices and completing control panel connections
- Testing installed systems and fault-finding electrical and control issues
- Supporting commissioning and functional testing
- Coordinating with project teams, clients, subcontractors and other trades on site
- Assisting with the wiring and testing of custom Mechanical Switchboards when required
- Maintaining high standards of safety,



quality and workmanship.

About You

You’re a qualified electrician who takes pride in delivering quality work and enjoys solving technical problems.

You’ll ideally bring:

- A current Electrical Licence
- Experience across commercial and/or industrial electrical systems
- Strong electrical installation, testing and fault-finding skills
- The ability to confidently read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- A current White Card and Australian Driver’s Licence
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to safe, high-quality work
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a project team
- A professional and customer-focused approach.

Experience across commercial HVAC, mechanical electrical, BMS, building automation, HVAC controls or Mechanical Switchboards will be highly regarded, but we’re also interested in experienced electricians who want to further develop their capability in these areas.
