The Role

This is a paid, full time traineeship where you’ll earn a wage while you complete your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. You’ll work Monday to Friday in our centre, learning on the job from experienced educators, and study through a supported training pathway alongside your work.

You don’t need any previous childcare experience or qualifications — just a genuine love of working with children, reliability, and a willingness to learn. We’ll teach you the rest.

Traineeships typically run for 12 to 18 months and lead directly to a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification and a career in early childhood education.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Supporting our experienced educators to deliver a play-based, EYLF-aligned program
- Getting to know each child, building trusting relationships, and helping them learn through play
- Helping with daily routines — meal times, nappy changes, rest time, indoor and outdoor play
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment




- Learning to write observations and contribute to learning documentation
- Communicating warmly and respectfully with children, families, and colleagues
- Completing your Certificate III studies with structured, paid study time and mentoring from our team

What We’re Looking For

- A genuine love of working with children aged 0–5
- Reliability, warmth, patience, and a strong work ethic
- A willingness to learn, take feedback on board, and grow
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) — or willingness to obtain one prior to starting
- Willingness to complete a First Aid certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management (we can support this)
- Right to work in Australia and eligibility to undertake an Australian Apprenticeship / Traineeship
- A commitment to seeing the Certificate III qualification through to completion
