PLC Sydney is seeking an adaptable and professional Junior School Teacher to join our vibrant Junior School on a permanent basis.

This role is dedicated to fostering the academic, spiritual, and emotional growth of girls through evidence-based pedagogy and a supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Curriculum Delivery: Apply sound knowledge of NSW and Australian curriculum documents to design and implement content-rich, differentiated learning programs.
- Active Learning:



Promote an engaging classroom culture by connecting lessons to real-world contexts and utilising diverse ICT resources to meet educational outcomes.
- Student Wellbeing: Provide high-quality duty of care by knowing each student individually and supporting their personal, social, and spiritual development.
- Collaborative Practice: Work closely with colleagues to refine teaching resources, maintain course policies, and ensure consistent administrative excellence in assessment and reporting.
- Professional Engagement: Participate in qualified learning, stay informed on contemporary trends in girls' education, and contribute to the College's co-curricular program.

Selection Criteria:

- Qualifications & Accreditation: Formal teaching qualifications and current NESA registration.
- Pedagogical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to implement best-practice teaching strategies that cater to diverse student learning needs.
- Communication Skills: Excellence in written and oral communication.
- Collaborative Spirit: A proven track record of working effectively within a team to produce high-quality programs and resources.
- Adapability: Readiness to engage in the full life of the College, including attending camps, excursions, and community functions.
