OnTemp Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is a growing, locally owned Cairns business specialising in commercial, industrial and marine refrigeration and air conditioning.

We’re looking for an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team.

If you’re a valuable tradesman who can fault-find, work independently and take pride in doing a job properly, we’d like to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll work across a variety of:

- Commercial refrigeration
- Industrial refrigeration
- Marine refrigeration




- Reef boats and vessels
- Marine refits
- Cold rooms and freezers
- Air conditioning
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance
- Installations and upgrades
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Commissioning

No two days are the same.

What We're Looking For

You’ll need:

- Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- 3–5+ years' commercial refrigeration experience
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current Restricted Electrical Licence
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and job ownership
- Pride in your workmanship
- A good attitude

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who can walk onto a job, work out what’s wrong and get it sorted.
