Educators collaborate closely with colleagues, Room Leaders, the Educational Leader, and the Nominated Supervisor, and build meaningful partnerships with families and external professionals to support each child's holistic development. They bring thoughtful insight to team discussions, engage actively in reflective practice, and are committed to ongoing professional growth.

Selection Criteria

Qualifications

- Hold an ACECQA approved Certificate III level qualification or be 'actively working towards' an approved Certificate III level qualification. See www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved

- OR hold an ACECQA approved Diploma level qualification or be ‘actively working towards’ an approved Diploma level qualification. See www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved

- Working with Children Check/ Working with vulnerable people check or equivalent.

- A first aid qualification that is approved by ACECQA that includes first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis management.

- Child protection awareness and/or training approved by the relevant state/territory reporting authority.

Desirable

- Desirable to hold a National Police Check (state/territory relevant).

Experience

- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (V2.0) and the National Quality Standard.

- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and documenting children's learning.

- Minimum of one year's experience in an approved education and care service is required.
