Your main responsibility will be assisting our powder coating department with the packing and preparation of finished products ready for dispatch. This is an entry-level position suited to someone looking to get started in the workforce and learn practical skills in a busy manufacturing environment. For the right person, there will also be an opportunity to learn powder coating and be trained as a backup powder coater in the future.
Key responsibilities
- Packing finished powder coated products
- Wrapping and protecting products for transport
- Checking finished items prior to packing
- Assisting with loading and unloading where required
- Keeping the packing and powder coating areas clean and organised
- Assisting the powder coating team as required
About you
- Reliable and punctual
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Willing to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Takes care when handling finished products
- Comfortable working in a workshop/manufacturing setting
- Physically capable of performing a hands-on role
- No previous powder coating or manufacturing experience required; training will be provided
