We work with leading technology platforms and provide solutions ranging from smaller commercial installations through to complex multi-site projects and long-term service arrangements.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Sales Representative / Business Development Manager to grow our electronic security business throughout Brisbane and selected areas of the Gold Coast.

The Role

This is a customer-facing sales role focused primarily on electronic security solutions, including CCTV, access control, alarms, intercoms and ongoing maintenance agreements.

You will develop new business while also identifying opportunities within Metwide's existing customer base.

The role will involve a combination of prospecting, customer meetings, site visits, solution development, quoting and account management.

You will work closely with our technical, estimating, projects and service teams to ensure customers receive practical and commercially competitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate current electronic security business throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast

- Develop relationships with commercial customers,



builders, facility managers, property managers and other key decision-makers

- Sell CCTV, access control, alarms, intercoms and related electronic security solutions

- Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and ongoing service agreements

- Conduct customer meetings and initial site inspections

- Understand customer requirements and assist in developing suitable solutions

- Prepare and present quotations and proposals

- Follow up quotations and actively manage opportunities through to close

- Develop existing Metwide accounts and identify additional service opportunities

- Build a strong sales pipeline and maintain accurate opportunity records

- Work with technicians and project staff to develop technically appropriate solutions

- Maintain strong relationships with customers after project completion

- Identify upgrade and replacement opportunities within existing security systems

- Assist with tender, project and contract opportunities where required

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is comfortable building relationships and actively pursuing new business.

Experience within electronic security, CCTV, access control, alarms, ICT, telecommunications or a related technical industry will be highly regarded.

You may already be an experienced security salesperson or BDM, or you may be a strong salesperson from a related industry looking to move into electronic security.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous B2B sales or business development experience

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Confidence approaching and developing new customers

- Ability to manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to sale

- Commercial understanding and confidence discussing pricing





- Good organisational and follow-up skills

- Ability to understand technical products and solutions

- Professional presentation and communication

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Ability to work independently while being part of a wider technical and operational team

Existing relationships within the security, construction, facilities management, property, commercial or government sectors would be highly regarded.

Technical security experience is beneficial but not essential where the candidate has strong sales ability and is willing to learn.

Territory

The primary territory will cover:

Brisbane and surrounding areas, extending into selected areas of the Gold Coast.

The role will involve regular customer meetings and site visits throughout the territory.

Remuneration

An attractive package will be negotiated based on experience and industry background and will include:

Base salary + superannuation + vehicle/vehicle allowance + uncapped commission.
