TEMP-TO-PERM — Family Nanny (Balmoral) Commence ASAP!

Location: Balmoral, Brisbane QLD

Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 40 hours per week | 6:15am start

Salary: Up to $55/hr + superannuation during an initial trial period, transitioning to $115,000–$120,000 per annum + superannuation + 5% annual bonus (paid each December, pro-rata) on confirmation of the permanent role, with a further $7,000 increase after 6 months in the permanent position and ongoing annual reviews at CPI + 1%

About our clients
A warm, close-knit Balmoral family is looking for an experienced and loving Family Nanny. In your care are two children, aged four and six, and take a "village raising the children" approach — extended family live downstairs, and everyone comes together often, especially at mealtimes. One child has additional needs and attends specialist therapy programs, and the family is looking for someone with genuine, hands-on experience in this space. This is a family that values warmth, consistency and stability, reliable care, and is genuinely hoping this temp nannybecomes a lasting placement.

Duties

- Attentive, developmentally-informed care for two young children, with mornings commencing at 6:15am sharp
- School, daycare, therapy and activity drop-offs and collections (approx. 30–45 minutes each way)
- Supporting the children's routines, transitions and emotional regulation,



with confidence around additional needs and neurodiversity-informed care
- Coordinating family schedules and school/daycare administration
- Meal preparation, children's laundry and household organisation
- Building calm, predictable routines that support the children's wellbeing
- Occasional overnight care, 1–4 nights per month during the family's work travel
- Clear, professional communication with the family, educators and therapy providers

The perfect fit

You’re an experienced, professional nanny looking for a genuine long-term placement, but happy to prove yourself through a working trial first. You bring real, demonstrated experience supporting children with additional needs, and you're calm, patient and confident in that space. You're a dependable early riser, highly organised and self-directed, and you see nannying and household support as a profession — not casual babysitting. You're excited by the idea of being a qualified nanny who willbecome a long-term member of this family unit. Bonus if you speak Portuguese (not essential).
