We're looking for an experienced Windows System Administrator to join a high-performing Managed Services team supporting a major enterprise customer in Port Melbourne.

n

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys solving infrastructure problems, working autonomously and supporting business-critical technology environments.

n

What You'll Be Doing You'll support the ongoing availability, performance and security of enterprise server infrastructure.

n

Your day-to-day will include

n

n
- Administering and supporting Windows Server environments
n
- Installing and configuring server hardware, software, firmware and drivers
n
- Supporting VMware environments, including vCenter, vCloud and vSphere
n
- Managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
n
- Monitoring server availability, performance, backups and capacity
n
- Managing server access and security controls
n
- Deploying application and infrastructure changes
n
- Supporting data migration and replication between sites
n
- Troubleshooting incidents and providing first-level technical support
n
- Escalating complex issues to specialist support teams
n
- Maintaining technical documentation and configuration records
n
- Collaborating directly with customers and internal IT stakeholders
n

What We're Looking For Technical Skills & Experienc

n

n
- 3-5+ years' experience in Windows Systems Administration
n
- Experience supporting complex corporate infrastructure environments
n
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory capability
n
- VMware experience
n
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
n
- Experience with SCCM and SCOM
n
- Server hardware installation and configuration experience
n
- Backup and recovery administration knowledge
n
- Linux and storage administration exposure
n




- Network and LAN troubleshooting experience
n
- ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform experience
n
- Scripting or infrastructure automation exposure
n
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation and problem-solving skills
n
- IT qualification or equivalent practical experience
n

n

Experience with Avamar, Data Domain, NetApp, Networker, VxRail, Unity, Citrix or hyperconverged infrastructure will be highly regarded.

n

Contract Details

n

- 12-month contract
n
- Based onsite in Port Melbourne
n
- Monday to Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm
n
- 37.5 hours per week
n
- Some after-hours, weekend or on-call work may occasionally be required
n
- Own car and current driver's license required
n
- Mileage reimbursed where applicable
n

Security Clearance Requirement

n

This position is only open to Australian Citizens with a current NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.

n

Candidates must also meet applicable ITAR and background-check requirements.
