About the role:

Kempsey Toyota are actively looking for an energetic individual to join their Parts & Accessories Department in the role of Spare Parts Interpreter. The main focus of the Spare Parts Interpreter is the sale of parts and accessories to internal and external customers by directing, developing, training and managing departmental resources with the objective to achieve a superior level of customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Align sales activities with the broader business plan
- Carrying out storage and stock control procedures
- Identifying parts and components
- Receiving and filling orders for parts




- Regular reporting of department’s actual sales performance against set targets with variance and revised projections to the Fixed Operations Manager and Dealer Principal
- Building and maintaining customer loyalty and support
- Demonstrating behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values and The Toyota Way

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience

- Robust working knowledge of the automotive industry
- Experience managing and motivating a team
- Guest service focused
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and decisiveness
- Ability to uphold company policy, organisational values and The Toyota Way
- Results orientation and decisiveness
- Ability to build collaborative relationships within the dealership, the Toyota dealer network and the community

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience

- Qualifications as a Parts Interpreter (Certificate III in Automotive Sales -Parts Interpretation)
- Technical Aptitude
- Fork lift licence
