Job Details
The ADF is seeking a Safety System Engineer to lead the system safety program across requirements, design, V&V; and certification. The role will ensure safety obligations, evidence and traceability remain aligned with the program while maintaining compliance with Defence regulatory and statutory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the system safety program across requirements, design, V&V; and certification, ensuring safety obligations, evidence and traceability remain aligned with the program.
- Coordinate safety analysis, hazard controls,
assurance activities and specialist inputs to maintain compliance with Defence regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Provide senior judgment to integrate system safety implications into schedule, design decisions, and Governance Artefacts.
- System safety program documentation, hazard analysis and assurance evidence.
- Certification artefacts, V&V; alignment and technical review outputs.
- Safety decision records and governance read briefings.
