Finleaf Finance is seeking a Broker Support professional to join our team on a full-time basis at our Essendon Fields VIC office. This role is integral to ensuring our mortgage brokers have the support and resources they need to deliver exceptional service to their clients. You will be the backbone of our operations, providing administrative, technical and operational support that enables our brokers to focus on what they do best—securing the best mortgage outcomes for their clients. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our mortgage brokerage operations.

What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive administrative support to mortgage brokers, including managing documentation, processing applications and coordinating with lenders

Assisting with the preparation and organisation of loan files, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate

Managing broker schedules, appointments and client follow-ups to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery

Liaising between brokers, clients and lenders to facilitate communication and resolve issues efficiently

Maintaining detailed records and databases to track application status, client information and transaction progress

Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance with mortgage software systems and tools

Supporting compliance and quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to industry regulations and company standards

Assisting with client onboarding, answering general enquiries and providing preliminary information about mortgage products and services

Contributing to team projects and initiatives that improve broker efficiency and client satisfaction

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a broker support, mortgage administration or similar financial services support role

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with brokers, clients and lenders





Proficiency with computer systems and mortgage software platforms; experience with mortgage management systems is advantageous

Attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive client information and documentation

A thorough understanding of mortgage processes, lending requirements and industry compliance standards

Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst managing workload independently

A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to supporting broker success and client satisfaction

Relevant qualifications in finance, business administration or equivalent experience in a mortgage or banking environment
