As we grow, we're appointing an Account Manager to take full ownership of an active commercial portfolio (some domestic), including claims, and drive its continued growth.
The Opportunity
You’ll step into an established commercial book spanning heavy motor, civil, trade and other industries to get you started. Full accountability for retention, account development and new business — with an experienced team behind you and a genuine commission upside tied to growth you deliver.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Strategic ownership of a commercial insurance portfolio (some domestic)
- End-to-end renewals,
mid-term changes and client servicing
- Acting as primary adviser for your portfolio; supporting other brokers as needed
- Managing claims through to resolution
- Growing accounts via upsell, cross-sell and referrals
- Sourcing and converting recent business
- Building strong underwriter relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Tier 1 / Diploma of Insurance Broking (RG146 compliant)
- Solid experience in commercial or general insurance broking
- Comfortable generating new business through your own networks
- Dealer composite policy experience a plus
- Strong communicator, organised, high integrity, detail-focused
