Orange Square Medical is seeking an experienced and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our friendly, busy general practice team.

Key responsibilities

- Providing high-quality nursing care in a general practice setting
- Immunisations and maintaining accurate Australian Immunisation Register records
- Wound care, dressings and removal of sutures
- Health assessments and chronic disease management
- ECGs, spirometry and other clinical procedures
- Assisting doctors with minor procedures
- Cold-chain monitoring, infection control and stock management
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Supporting accreditation and continuous quality improvement activities
- Providing patient education and follow-up care

About you

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse




- Previous general practice or primary healthcare experience is preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Immunisation certification or willingness to obtain it
- Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Sound computer skills; experience with Best Practice software is desirable
- A professional, respectful and patient-focused approach
