THE ROLE

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services, while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships. This is ideal for a technically strong public practice professional who enjoys both client-facing work and team leadership.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and review complex individual, company, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulatory requirements
- Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standardsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage workflow for the team
- Assist with the provision of business advisory and coaching services

ABOUT YOU

- Minimum 4 years' experience in Australian public practice
- Robust technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines across multiple client portfolios
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability
- High level of professionalism and integrity
