nStitch Coffee Fish Market is looking for an experienced Retail Manager (General) to organise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the store.n
n
nThe Retail Manager will be responsible for managing the overall retail operations of the store, including staff supervision, stock and inventory control, sales performance, customer service standards, product presentation and financial transactions.n
n
nApplicants must have strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy retail environment while maintaining Stitch Coffee's operational and customer service standards.n

nResponsibilities and dutiesn
nDetermine product mix, stock levels and customer service standards;n
nFormulate and implement purchasing and marketing strategies and assist with setting prices;n
nMonitor stock levels and coordinate the purchasing and ordering of products and supplies;n
nPromote and advertise the store's goods and services;n




nOversee the sale of goods and services and provide customers with advice regarding products;n
nMaintain records of stock levels and financial transactions;n
nUndertake budgeting for the store and monitor revenue and expenditure;n
nControl the selection, training and supervision of retail staff;n
nPrepare and manage staff rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout trading periods;n
nMonitor staff performance and maintain high standards of customer service;n
nOversee inventory control, product displays and merchandising;n
nRespond to customer enquiries, feedback and complaints where required;n
nEnsure the store is maintained to a high standard of presentation and cleanliness;n
nEnsure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.n
nSkills and Qualificationsn
nAQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field (ANZSCO Skill Level 2);n
nAt least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications;n
nIn some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification;n
nRelevant experience in retail management or a similar managerial position;n
nStrong leadership, organisational and communication skills;n
nExperience in managing, training and supervising staff;n
nExperience in stock control, purchasing and inventory management;n
nAbility to monitor sales, budgets, revenue and expenditure;n
nStrong customer service skills and the ability to maintain high service standards;n
nSound knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements;n
nAbility to work effectively under pressure in a busy, fast-paced retail workplace.n

nSalary: $80,000 - $90,000n
n
