nStitch Coffee QVB is located within the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney. The store provides customers with specialty coffee, beverages and a range of Stitch Coffee retail products while maintaining high standards of customer service, product quality and store presentation.n

nStitch Coffee QVB is looking for an experienced Retail Manager who can organise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the store while effectively managing retail staff and maintaining high standards of customer service.n
n
nThe Retail Manager will be responsible for managing staff, stock levels, product presentation, sales performance and customer service standards while ensuring the store operates efficiently. Must have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced retail setting, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and ensure the store maintains Stitch Coffee's operational and service standards.n

nResponsibilities and dutiesn
nOrganise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store;n
nDetermine product mix, stock levels and customer service standards;n
nMonitor stock levels and coordinate the purchasing and ordering of products and supplies;n
nImplement purchasing and pricing strategies in accordance with business requirements;n
nPromote and advertise the store's products and services;n




nMonitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve retail sales;n
nMaintain records of stock levels and financial transactions;n
nUndertake budgeting of store revenue and expenses;n
nRecruit, select, roster, train and supervise retail staff;n
nMonitor staff performance and provide guidance and training where required;n
nPrepare and manage staff rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels during trading periods;n
nEnsure customers receive a high standard of service and respond to customer enquiries and feedback;n
nOversee product displays, merchandising and the overall presentation of the store;n
nImplement and maintain store policies, procedures and service standards;n
nEnsure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and other relevant retail regulations.n
nSkills and Qualificationsn
nAQF Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field;n
nQualifications in Business Management, Retail Management or a related field are highly regarded;n
nHave at least 3 years of relevant experience in retail management or a similar managerial position;n
nStrong leadership, organisational and communication skills;n
nExperience in managing, rostering, training and supervising staff;n
nExperience in stock control, purchasing and inventory management;n
nAbility to monitor sales, revenue, expenses and overall store performance;n
nStrong understanding of customer service and retail operations;n
nAbility to maintain high standards of store presentation and product merchandising;n
nSound knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements;n
nAbility to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.n

nSalary: $80,000 - $90,000n
n
