Industrial Batteries Australia Pty Ltd (IBA) is an established national leader in industrial battery and charging solutions. We support the materials-handling, industrial-equipment and airport ground-support markets, supplying and servicing batteries and chargers for electric forklifts and electric Ground Support Equipment.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable, trustworthy and hands‑on Warehouse Hand and Battery assembler to join our Brisbane team to assist with Battery pack assembly amongst many other Warehouse duties.

About the Role

This full-time position is based at our Acacia ridge facility, with an immediate start available.

This is a straightforward, hands‑on role suited to someone who is reliable, uses good common sense, has an eye for detail and is willing to learn. No previous battery experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided by our experienced team.

Applicants must have basic reading and writing skills and can use a Tablet device. If you are dependable, keen to work and prepared to contribute as part of a team, we want to hear from you.

The position offers plenty of variety, combining warehouse operations, battery and charger preparation, quality-control inspections, and preparing products for delivery to our clients.

The work is practical and interesting, with enough variety to keep you busy and genuine opportunities for advancement within the Company over time.

Key Responsibilities

- Receiving,



checking and storing incoming stock
- Picking and preparing products and parts for customer orders
- Assembling battery components and related products
- Preparing industrial batteries and chargers for delivery
- Completing quality-control and pre-delivery inspections
- Labelling, packing and securing products for transport
- Maintaining accurate stock and job records
- Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean, safe and organised
- Loading and unloading deliveries and containers when required
- Assisting the wider branch team with general warehouse duties

About You

To succeed in this position, you will:

- Be reliable, punctual and keen to work
- Have good common sense and attention to detail
- Be comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Be able to follow written instructions and complete basic paperwork
- Be physically capable of performing practical warehouse duties
- Work safely and contribute positively as part of a team
- Be willing to learn about industrial batteries, chargers and related products

A current forklift licence and previous warehouse or assembly experience would be helpful.

Previous experience in warehousing, labouring, trade‑assistant work, deliveries or technician‑support roles would be beneficial but is not essential.

Essential Requirements

- A current Australian driver’s licence
- A current forklift licence

- Full Australian working rights
