Net Fabricator - Rope Playground Equipment

Kaebel Leisure is looking for a Net Fabricator to join our production team in Beresfield.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role where you will build rope net structures used in playgrounds across Australia and overseas. The work is practical, detailed and repetitive — but it is also meaningful. The products we make are used by children every day to get outside, play, explore, take risks, build confidence and develop physically.

A good Net Fabricator can read drawings, think ahead and take pride in building something properly. Every net is a little different, so the role suits someone who enjoys practical problem-solving and making things they can be proud of.

This role may suit someone with experience as a joiner, carpenter, cabinetmaker, trade assistant, installer, assembler, fabricator, skilled hobby builder, or someone from another practical background.

What you will be doing

You will be trained to manufacture rope elements for playground equipment.

Your work will include:

- Measuring, cutting, pressing and assembling rope nets

- Working from technical drawings, cutting lists and production schedules

- Using hand tools and basic workshop equipment

- Checking your own work for accuracy and quality

- Working with production and design teams to solve practical build issues

What we are looking for

The right person will be:

- Practical and comfortable using hand tools

- Able to read technical drawings, or clearly able to learn

- Good at measuring, checking and following details

- Able to think ahead and plan the next steps

- Reliable, punctual and low-drama

- Physically capable of standing and working with your hands all day

- Proud of doing quality work

- Willing to learn and improve

- Comfortable doing repetitive work

- Able to work independently once trained

A trade background is highly regarded, especially joinery, carpentry, cabinetmaking, fabrication, fitting, installation or similar practical work.

A forklift licence is useful but not essential.

- Monday to Thursday: 6:30am–3:00pm
