About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Car Care Consultant to join our dynamic sales team at our Caloundra QLD location. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in automotive sales and customer service. As a Trainee Car Care Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping customers select the right car care products and services whilst developing your sales and product knowledge under the guidance of experienced team members. This position is essential to our customer-focused approach and provides the foundation for career progression within our organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting customers and providing friendly, professional assistance in identifying their vehicle care needs
- Learning about and recommending appropriate car care products and services tailored to individual customer requirements
- Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty
- Assisting with product displays, stock management, and maintaining a clean, organised sales environment
- Responding to customer enquiries about product features, benefits, and application methods
- Supporting experienced consultants in delivering exceptional customer service




- Participating in product training and development sessions to enhance your knowledge and sales skills
- Achieving individual and team sales targets through effective consultative selling
- Following company policies and procedures at all times

What we’re looking for

- A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in the automotive industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Willingness to learn and develop your sales and product knowledge through on-the-job training
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also taking initiative independently
- Basic numeracy skills for processing transactions and managing cash handling
- A customer-focused mindset with genuine interest in solving customer problems
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
- Ideally, some retail, sales, or customer service experience (though this is not essential for the right candidate)
- A valid driver's licence would be advantageous
