Storeperson (Afternoon Shift 2pm - 10pm)

Southern Steel QLD is Queensland's leading steel supplier and processing company, operating across 5 locations in the state. We’re seeking a motivated Storeperson to join our Wacol branch for the Afternoon Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include:

- Warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes/forklifts

- Picking & packing orders, unloading, loading and stacking materials

- Completing documents associated with deliveries

- Operating machines, when required

- General warehouse dutiesand supporting the warehouse team





- Following the correct safety procedures at all times

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Experience in a similar role or understanding of warehouse operations (not essential)

- Willing to undergo Forklift and Overhead Crane training.

- Excellent communication skills, ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.

- An excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn.
