About the Role
The Content & Engagement Coordinator supports MTC FutureReady's customer experience and engagement objectives by creating engaging content, providing administrative and customer service support, and building positive stakeholder relationships. The role helps strengthen brand awareness, enhance audience engagement, and contribute to the organisation's growth and overall success through effective communication, operational support, and community engagement.
Reporting to the General Manager Customer Experience and Engagement, key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Create, develop, and publish engaging digital content across social media platforms, including graphics, videos, captions, and promotional materials.
- Support the planning, scheduling, and maintenance of content calendars to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content aligned with brand objectives.
- Monitor social media channels, audience engagement, and online communities, identifying opportunities to increase reach and interaction.
- Assist with community management by responding to enquiries, comments, and messages in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver content initiatives that support organisational goals and customer engagement.
- Track and report on content performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve audience engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence, data entry, record keeping,
appointment coordination, and maintaining office systems.
- Support office operations and reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering phones, managing meeting room bookings, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Deliver high‑quality customer service by responding to enquiries, supporting prospective participants, and providing a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, customer experience, communication activities, and overall team effectiveness.
About You
The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:
- Demonstrated experience in administration, customer service, communications, marketing, or a similar support role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience creating and managing digital content across social media, websites, and internal communication channels using tools such as Canva and social media platforms.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgement.
- Adaptable and committed to continuous learning, with an understanding of digital content, brand management, compliance requirements, workplace health and safety, and ongoing career development.
