EMC Technologies is one of Australia's leading independent testing and compliance organisations, providing Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Radio, Electrical Safety, Environmental, Telecommunications and specialised engineering services to clients across a broad range of industries.

We are seeking a Reception & Logistics Administrator to join our Sydney team on a part-time basis, Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm. This is a varied role combining front-of-house customer service, administration and equipment logistics, providing essential support to our engineers, project teams and customers.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of reception and coordinating the safe and efficient receipt, storage, tracking and dispatch of customer and company equipment.

Providing professional reception and customer service via phone, email and face-to-face

Greeting visitors and coordinating site access and customer visits

Receiving and distributing mail, courier deliveries and documentation

Coordinating the receipt, storage,



handling and dispatch of customer equipment

Arranging domestic and international freight, including packaging and documentation

Tracking shipments and liaising with freight providers and customers

Maintaining accurate equipment records and traceability

Conducting condition checks and reporting damaged or missing items

Supporting project meetings, seminars and training activities

About you

Experienced in reception, administration, logistics or customer service

Highly organised with solid attention to detail

Confident managing competing priorities

Professional and customer-focused

A clear and effective communicator

Reliable, accountable and adaptable

Competent in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM/ERP systems

Certificate III/IV or higher qualification in Business Administration, Customer Service or Logistics is desirable

Experience within a laboratory, engineering or technical environment would also be advantageous
