As a Maintenance Manager at Minerva Foods, you will be responsible for leading a skilled maintenance team while driving preventative maintenance programs, asset reliability, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will play a key role in ensuring plant uptime, safety compliance, cost control, and operational performance across a large and complex food manufacturing workplace.

As a Maintenance Manager at Minerva Foods, you will be responsible for leading a skilled maintenance team while driving preventative maintenance programs, asset reliability, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will play a key role in ensuring plant uptime, safety compliance, cost control, and operational performance across a large and complex food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the site's maintenance team, including trades, contractors, and support personnel.

- Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

- Ensure plant and equipment reliability to maximise operational efficiency and minimise downtime.

- Manage maintenance budgets and drive cost-effective maintenance solutions.

- Oversee capital expenditure projects from planning through to implementation.

- Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.





- Work collaboratively with production and operational teams to achieve site performance targets.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, efficiency, and asset life.

- Coordinate external contractors and service providers.

- Develop maintenance strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and asset management systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or Senior Maintenance leadership position.

- Strong background within manufacturing, food processing, meat processing, FMCG, or industrial environments.

- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Demonstrated experience managing preventative maintenance systems and asset management programs.

- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

- Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects.

- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
