Pekarna Cafe & Bakehouse is looking for a baker to join our small team and help us produce our range of European sweet and savoury pastries and baked goods in-house. We are open to people with all levels of experience. If you're a qualified pastry chef or experienced baker, that's fantastic. But if you're someone who simply loves baking at home, has a positive understanding of food and enjoys working with their hands, we'd also love to hear from you. Training will be provided to learn our recipes, products and methods.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and baking our range of in-house sweet and savoury products

Following recipes and maintaining consistent quality

Preparing ingredients and keeping the baking area clean and organised





Learning our existing products and baking methods

Helping out in the cafe when needed, including making coffee and serving customers

About you

A genuine interest in baking and food

Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn

Good attention to detail and pride in what you produce

Ability to work independently once trained

Professional baking or pastry experience is preferred, but not essential

A qualified pastry chef would be highly regarded

Ability and willingness to occasionally help with coffee and customers would be a bonus
