We are actively seeking a commercially minded Senior Finance Business Partner to drive performance, influence decisions, and support the growth of Northern Star Surface Mining (NSSM) operations. Here's what awaits you:

- Be a trusted finance partner to senior operational leaders, influencing key commercial and strategic decisions.
n
- Drive financial performance through insight-led partnering with Operational Teams
n
- Own financial reporting, variance analysis, and month-end outcomes for NSSM
n
- Provide commercial oversight of contractor claims, ensuring value, accuracy, and compliance
n
- Support budgeting and forecasting, with a focus on fleet and maintenance expenditure
n
- Enable strategic growth through clear, forward-looking reporting and dashboards
n
- Provide commercial input across asset management and maintenance planning
n

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

n

n




- Proven experience in a Senior Finance Business Partner or Management Accounting role.
n
- Solid operational or site-based experience (highly regarded)
n
- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)
n
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (Pronto highly regarded)
n
- Advanced Excel and Power BI capability
n
- Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
n
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
