Vhouse Florist is a boutique florist located at Westfield Miranda, proudly serving the Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas.

We create fresh, premium-quality bouquets and floral arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, sympathy, corporate clients, weddings and special events.

The Role

This is a hands-on floristry position where you will be involved in creating beautiful floral designs while providing an exceptional experience for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Creating fresh bouquets, arrangements and floral designs
- Conditioning, processing and caring for fresh flowers
- Selecting flowers, foliage and complementary products for individual orders
- Assisting customers with flower selection and providing professional advice
- Preparing daily customer orders and ensuring they are completed to a high standard
- Creating flowers for weddings, events and corporate orders when required
- Receiving and processing flower deliveries
- Maintaining flower quality and managing stock and wastage
- Keeping the shop, work areas and displays clean, organised and beautifully presented
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Assisting with general day-to-day florist shop operations
- Working efficiently and accurately during busy periods and seasonal peaks





About You

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience working as a professional Florist
- Strong bouquet-making and floral design skills
- Good knowledge of flowers, foliage, seasonal availability and flower care
- A creative eye and strong attention to detail
- A genuine passion for flowers and floral design
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Good organisation and time-management skillsThe ability to remain calm and productive in a busy retail environment
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude
- Flexibility to work weekends and busy seasonal periods, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day
