The Contract Administrator provides professional contract administration services that support effective procurement and contract management practices. The position ensures contractual compliance, strong governance, and accurate financial and contract records, while contributing to the efficient delivery of organisational projects and operational services.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Current QueenslandDriver's Licence.
- High levelaccounting or contract management experience in a small to mediummulti-function organisation or Local Government workplace.
- Understandingof procurement processes and contracts and contract legislation.
- Demonstrated proficiencyin the use of computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel andthe ability to be rapidly proficient in councils program suite includingAuthority, InfoXpert, Customer Request Management System (CRM), GIS system.
- Ability to workwith minimal supervision and apply time management practices to ensure requiredtimeframes are adhered to.
- Well-developedreporting and analytical skills to produce reports to a high standard.
- Anunderstanding of AS4000-1997 General Conditions of contract.
- Demonstrated abilityto apply process review and improvement methods.
- Attention todetail.
- Well-developedcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and buildrelationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.




- Demonstratedexperience in the provision of quality service to internal and externalcustomers.
- High level ofproblem-solving skills.
- Soundsinterpersonal, communication and written skills.
- Demonstratedcommitment to being a team member that supports, motivates and participates inteam discussions to achieve Department and corporate goals.

Pre-Employment Assessment
