Selection Criteria

We are seeking an inspirational and energetic teacher to deliver a Music program that enables students from Kindergarten through to Year 6 to become successful,



engaged and creative learners.

Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will possess a strong knowledge of the Arts Curriculum (Music) and have the skills, ability and professional capacity to:

- Promote the Catholic faith, education and ethos of the school including the school’s values.
- Display an enthusiastic and cooperative approach.
- Demonstrate success as a dynamic, innovative and reflective practitioner who strives for excellence.
- Show highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills with a successful record of developing positive relationships with students, staff, parents, parish and the wider community.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the capacity to utilise these collaboratively with all stakeholders.
- Competently lead the music program including Sacraments, liturgical music, choir and band.
- Demonstrate commitment to the ongoing development of self and others through participation in Skilled Learning Communities and professional development.
- Contribute to school events as required.

Playing piano would be advantageous.

Qualifications Required

- A recognised four year tertiary teaching qualification
- Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School (willingness to obtain)
- A current TRBWA and a Working with Children registration
