ProGlow Electrics is looking for an experienced A-Grade Electrician with proven domestic new-home experience to join our growing team.

n

This is a full time, long-term position for someone who is already confident working across new-home construction and wants to become an important part of a professional team.

n

Our projects are predominantly throughout Melbourne's Bayside and South-Eastern suburbs, ranging from quality volume construction through to premium and custom homes.

The Role

n

As an A-Grade Electrician with ProGlow, you'll be responsible for delivering new-home electrical projects to a high standard while working closely with our field and operations teams.

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Completing electrical works across all stages of new-home construction
n
- Reading and working accurately from electrical plans
n
- Rough-ins, fit-offs, switchboards and associated electrical works
n
- Coordinating effectively with builders, supervisors and other trades
n
- Leading and mentoring apprentices on site
n
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and presentation
n
- Identifying issues early and communicating them with the team
n
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and safety requirements
n
- Taking ownership of the quality and completion of your work
n

What We're Looking For

n





Previous domestic new-home electrical experience is essential for this position.

n

We're looking for someone who:

n

n
- Holds a current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
n
- Has strong hands-on experience in domestic new-home construction
n
- Understands the pace, sequencing and expectations of residential building sites
n
- Produces consistently high-quality work
n
- Can work efficiently without sacrificing workmanship
n
- Is organised, reliable and takes responsibility for their work
n
- Communicates well with apprentices, colleagues and site supervisors
n
- Is comfortable supervising and developing apprentices
n
- Has strong fault-finding and electrical knowledge
n
- Holds a current driver's licence
n
- Holds a Construction Industry White Card
n
- Has their own standard electrical hand tools
n

n

Experience in volume building, premium/custom homes, data, security, underground supplies or home automation will be highly regarded.

n

You don't need to already be a Control4 expert, we'll provide training and exposure to the technology we use.
