Role Description

The Landscape Supervisor role is a full time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day landscape operations, including planning, coordinating, and supervising construction, maintenance, and irrigation activities across multiple projects. The Landscape Manager will lead site teams, allocate resources, monitor work quality, and ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The role includes liaising with clients and contractors, preparing reports and schedules, managing budgets, and resolving on-site issues to keep projects on track.



The Landscape Supervisor will also contribute to continuous improvement of processes and standards to maintain HL Landscapes’ reputation for reliability and high-quality service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Landscape Supervision and Landscape Maintenance to oversee day-to-day operations and long-term site care.
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Construction to supervise commercial landscaping projects, hardscapes, and structural elements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Design to interpret plans, collaborate on design solutions, and ensure project outcomes match specifications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Irrigation to manage installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of irrigation systems for diverse environments.
- Relevant qualifications in horticulture, landscape construction, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience managing field teams, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety practices and compliance requirements is important.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with proficiency in basic project documentation and scheduling tools, are advantageous.
