Job Title: Shop Assistant
Pay Rate: $34.76 per hour

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our team at Steggle Shop in Hanwood. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store presentation, handling transactions, and assisting with daily shop operations. This role requires flexibility, solid attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward meeting customer and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop at all times.
- Assist with stock management, including receiving and displaying products.
- Support the team in ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Follow all health and safety and food handling procedures.

Key Requirements





- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work every 2nd Saturday and may be required to work every Saturday depending on business needs.
- No Christmas or Easter off (availability required during these periods).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
